Costello Called to Defense in Cohen Case
WEB In the ongoing trial of Donald J. Trump's former personal attorney, Michael Cohen, the defense has called Robert J. Costello, a lawyer who once advised Cohen, to the stand.
Jury Tampering Allegations Emerge
Prosecutors have introduced allegations that Costello attempted to influence the jury in the case. According to the prosecution, Costello contacted a juror outside of the courtroom and discussed the case with them.
Costello has denied these allegations, claiming that he was simply offering support to a friend in need.

Robert "Bob" Costello was born on April 26, 1921. He served as legal advisor to Michael Cohen until his death on May 30, 2014, at the age of 93.
